You define your hiring process in Pinpoint through the Hiring Workflow Template page.

When you select a stage within the hiring workflow, you will see Edit stage options. Below is a list of each section and a brief explanation of how to use it.

Internal Name

Define a name for this stage, which is shown internally within Pinpoint and will appear on the internal job page.

Workflow Stage Group

Optional. Define a Workflow Stage Group, which is used for reporting and insights across multiple jobs. The default Workflow Stage Group options are Rejected, Applied, Review, Interview, Offer and Hired. Learn more about this in our guide Hiring Workflow Groups.

Interviews

The Interview Template and Alternative Interview Template options will only appear when the stage type is set to interview. Choose the interview template that you want to apply when scheduling interviews for candidates at this stage. The interview template defines the interview's settings. Learn more about Interview Templates in our guide How can I create an Interview Template?. If you would like the hiring manager to be able to select between different templates (for example, a 15-minute interview or a 30-minute interview), then you can add Alternative Interview Templates.

Scorecards

Use this field to select which scorecards you wish to assign to this hiring workflow stage. Learn more about setting up scorecards in our article How do I create and edit Scorecards?

You also can choose to lock the scorecard after it is submitted. If you check this box, any scorecards submitted during this hiring workflow stage will be locked after submission. This helps ensure the integrity of submitted evaluations.

Documents

You can select a document to be sent to candidates for signing at a stage. This is helpful for signing NDAs, legal paperwork, or documents that don't require signing. If you would like the document to be sent automatically, use the checkbox to trigger the document to be sent as soon as the candidate enters the stage.

External Information

Optional. Here you have options for showing details about this hiring workflow stage to candidates on the job description page. This helps candidates prepare for the hiring process and understand the next steps after they apply. Learn more about this in our guide How can I display details about the hiring process on a job description?

Additional Questions

Optional. You can send additional questions to candidates when they are assigned to this stage. Learn more about this feature in our guide How do I add a Question Set to a Hiring Workflow Stage?

Engagement Alerts

Optional. If you are concerned about stale or non-moving candidates, you can set an alert for any candidate that stays in this stage for too long. This alert will be sent to the job's recruitment manager.
