By default, roles will automatically be added to Indeed. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager, or the Support team if you would like to disable this.
Giving Indeed the Right Info
If your Indeed Account Manager is asking for a feed, let them know that you are moving to Pinpoint and sending jobs using the Job Sync API.
Setting up Sponsored Roles
With the Indeed Apply Integration
You can see the jobs you created in Pinpoint on your Indeed Dashboard and sponsor them by going to Campaigns > Create Campaign.
Without the Indeed Apply Integration
Email your Indeed Account Manager to confirm which jobs you'd like to be sponsored on Indeed.
Setting up Sub-Brands
Regardless of whether you have the Indeed Apply integration set up, it's crucial to get two things right.
Pinpoint sends two key pieces of information to Indeed with every job:
Company Name - Maps to the public-facing Indeed Company Page (what candidates see)
Source Name - Maps to the Indeed Employer Account (the backend account used for billing, applications, and campaigns)
If either of these are wrong, jobs will be assigned to the wrong Indeed account or company page.
We'll also cover a few of the more common scenarios to set you up for success.
One Account, Multiple Brands
If you have a single Indeed account but want jobs to appear on separate company pages for each brand:
All jobs will share the same Source Name (one account).
Each brand will send a different Company Name (creating separate company pages for candidates).
To set this up in Pinpoint use themes. Pinpoint's IndeedDecorator will automatically use the theme name as the Company Name for jobs linked to that theme.
Separate Account for Each Brand
If you have a separate Indeed account for each of your brand:
Each brand will send a distinct Source Name.
To set this up in Pinpoint, get in touch with our Support team.
Using Indeed Apply for Pre-Screening
Pre-screening questions are included in our feed to Indeed, so the candidate will be asked to complete them from within Indeed before they can finish an application.
