Creating Scorecards with Hiring Copilot
Scorecards give you a structured, standardised way of assessing candidates — helping you stay objective and remove bias from your selection process. The tricky part is usually building them out and making sure you've got the right questions for the role.
To make this faster and easier, you can now use Hiring Copilot to build and create scorecard templates from anywhere in Pinpoint.
Creating scorecards from your Hiring Intake Notes
Hiring Intake Notes give you and your hiring managers one place to capture what a role really needs — the context, dealbreakers, and priorities that won't appear in the public job posting.
You can use the context from these intake notes with Hiring Copilot to create a scorecard tailored to the exact needs of the role.
Click the Hiring Copilot icon in the top right of your Pinpoint screen.
Ask Hiring Copilot to create a scorecard, stating which job it's for and which Hiring Intake Notes to use.
Copilot will provide a draft structure to review, based on your notes.
Read through the draft and confirm everything looks right — or ask Copilot to make adjustments — then ask it to create the template.
Copilot will produce the template and link the scorecard page in the chat. Click into the scorecard to make any final adjustments before adding it to your job.
Using an existing template to create a new scorecard
If you've already hired for a similar role, you can ask Hiring Copilot to create a new scorecard using an existing template as a guide.
Use a prompt such as: "Create a scorecard for [role A] using [scorecard example 1] as a guide."
Copilot will create a scorecard template and link it in the chat, ready for you to click into and edit.
