We’re excited to share the latest updates in Pinpoint that will help you work more efficiently and make your hiring process even smoother. This month, we’re rolling out new features and enhancements designed to make finding candidates a breeze, like our improvements to searching for applications and promoting internal jobs.
Candidate Search
Candidate Search has received a major upgrade on the All Candidates page. You can now filter candidates based on application stage, answers to questions, and skills, giving you unprecedented control over your talent pool navigation.
Filtered views can be saved for quick access, making it easier to return to your customized searches with a single click. This enhancement will significantly streamline how you find candidates for new positions and manage your existing talent through personalized views. For example, you can create a view to see all candidates in an interview stage.
Radius Search
With Radius Search, you can now filter candidates based on their proximity to any location. This powerful feature allows you to search for talent within a specified distance from any address you input, whether you're on the All Candidates page or working within a specific job.
The Radius Search tool helps you identify local talent, making location-based hiring decisions more efficient. To start using this feature, it must first be enabled in your company settings under Profile > Preferences.
Support Chat
Later this week, our support chat bubble will be relocated to the left-hand side of the Pinpoint interface. This strategic repositioning is designed to improve your workflow by:
Making support more accessible while you're performing tasks (which typically appear on the right side)
Preventing the chat interface from blocking important action buttons
Enhancing overall usability during critical hiring processes
This small but meaningful change ensures help is always available without disrupting your work.
Internal Vacancies Widget
You can now showcase internal job opportunities on your career site using the enhanced job widget. This feature displays positions marked as internal, creating a dedicated space for your existing employees to discover new opportunities within your organization.
This addition provides a streamlined alternative to the employee dashboard, allowing you to create career pages for internal positions without requiring users to log in for access, making internal mobility more visible and accessible.
Small and Mighty
Some other small but significant changes include:
Job Information Drawer: When clicking on job information, more details are now displayed, including custom fields. This enhancement is particularly valuable for users who don't have editing privileges.
Onboarding Without a Start Date: When sending candidates to onboarding, you can now proceed without immediately setting a start date. This flexibility helps candidates begin their onboarding process before all details are finalized. Note that a start date will still be required before activating time-based triggers.
