You may need to email one or more candidates at various stages in the hiring workflow.

Pinpoint enables you to do this with ease, using pre-built templates and selecting multiple candidates in one go.

First, browse to the navigation on the left hand side of your screen and select 'Manage Jobs' under the 'Jobs' section:

Locate the job that the candidate has applied for and click the job title to open it.

Once opened you should see the different stages in the hiring workflow. From here, you can find the candidate by either clicking the 'All Candidates' tab, or clicking the stage that they are currently in.

You can email one or multiple candidates at once if you need to, from any of the tabs. Just tick the check box next to each candidates name as shown below and then click 'Email Candidates':

You will be presented with the following pop up:

If you have pre-built an email template then you can select it from the dropdown. Alternatively you can simply populate all of the information from scratch.

Populate each of the fields to your choosing.

You can insert the following dynamic variables into each of the form fields  (this is a piece of information that is different in each email, such as the recipient's name):

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Full Name

  • Stage Name

  • Job Title

  • Department Name

  • Company Name

  • Company Telephone Number

  • Company Website

  • Your Name

  • Your Job Title

  • Your Telephone Number

Where you've used dynamic variables, these will show the resultant information in the preview so you can test how it looks.
