June 2024 New Features - Talent Pools, Skills, and Conditional Questions

We are excited to announce several significant updates for June! You can watch the video below for a detailed walkthrough or read on for a summary of each new feature.

Skills on Candidate Profiles

We've added a new feature tht automatically attaches skills to candidate profiles based on their uploaded resumes. This is a game-changer for managing your Talent Pipeline, and our new Talent Pools feature. Here’s how it works:

  1. Automatic Skill Addition: When a candidate uploads their resume, our system automatically extracts and adds relevant skills to their profile.

  2. Manual Adjustments: You can manually add or edit skills on a candidate’s profile. If a skill is not listed, you can create it from the skills drop-down menu.

  3. Skill Visibility A new column for skills has been added to the all candidates preview, making it easier to see which candidates have skills listed.


Talent Pools

Talent pools allow you to group candidates automatically based on skills, desired work locations, departments, and tags. Pinpoint will automatically add candidates who meet your criteria to the appropriate pools. You can also manually add candidates to pools if needed and customize which pools you receive email notifications for.


Conditional Application Questions

We've introduced conditional application questions to enhance the application process. For instance, if you ask about work preference (remote, in-office, or other), you can add a follow-up question for them to elaborate.


Interview Calendar Feed

To streamline interview scheduling and management, we've added an interview calendar feed that syncs with external calendars. This allows you to see all upcoming interviews that you have permission over at a glance. Please do not share your calendar link with others.
