Talent pools are a powerful tool designed to make your recruitment process more efficient and organized. By categorizing candidates into user-defined groups, talent pools allow you to easily manage and track potential hires, ensuring that all the groundwork is already done when it's time to invite applicants for roles.

In addition to creating your own talent pools, you can also subscribe to pools shared by other users. Pools can be created from manually selected candidates or automated based on skills, tags, location, and departments.

How do I create a Talent Pool?

Step 1: To create a Talent Pool begin by navigating to the Talent Pipline page.

Step 2: From here, select the "All Candidates" drop-down menu to view all your pools. At the bottom of this list click on the "+ New Talent Pool" button.

Step 3: Name the pool and add a description. When you are done, click "Next" at the bottom right, or click on the Conditions tab.

Step 4: Add conditions to automatically add candidates to your pool. If you don't have any conditions, no candidates will be added.

In this example, candidates that have both Support and Conflict Resolution skills will be added; they will also need to be in either Jersey, London, or San Francisco.

Step 5: Click "Create Talent Pool".

Note: you currently cannot edit Talent Pools created and shared by other Pinpoint users, please ask the user who created the pool to edit this.
