Pinpoint's roles system allows you to define which platform functions a team member has access too.
Most roles are additive, so for example, your Administrators will likely have all roles assigned to them, where Hiring Managers or Recruiters may only have roles like Job Manager and Offer Manager assigned to them.
We've laid out the functionality each Role provides below:
Roles that every user has by default
Interviewer
Every user of Pinpoint has the interviewer role by default and it can’t be removed.
Interviewers can be assigned to an interview team and take part in interviews.
Interviewers can see the application details, comments and scorecards for any applicant they are assigned as an interviewer for.
Roles that you may want to assign to your Recruiters and Hiring Managers
Job Manager
Job managers can manage jobs that they have visibility over. Job managers can:
Create new and edit existing jobs (but only for the department / locations they have visibility over)
Open, close and archive (but not unarchive) jobs
If their visibility settings give them access to a job, job managers can
View all candidates and scorecards
Add candidates to a job manually
See the job insights view
Configure and schedule interviews
Manage share links and create QR codes for the job
Important Note: There is some overlap with the ‘Interview Manager’ role. Job managers don’t need that role at all. They have permissions to manage interviews without it.

Draft Job Creator
Draft job creators are only allowed to create jobs in a draft state, as opposed to the ‘Job Manager’ who can create jobs as draft or live. Jobs created by a ‘Draft Job Creator’ need to be published by someone with a higher level of permissions. As with the ‘Job Manager’ you can only create draft jobs in locations / departments that you have visibility over.
