Once you’ve posted a job on Linkedin, you may occasionally experience an error based on the setup of your job. In this example, a job has been posted with an invalid location, Narnia. Remember, Linkedin can take a few hours to post a role, so sometimes the error may not arrive for a while.
Where can I see errors?
Notifications
To make sure you don’t miss it, you’ll be notified in two places. Clicking on the link in the notification will take you directly to the job.
Within Pinpoint Jobs
When you click manage job, you’ll see a red circle and a number next to the “Postings” tab, highlighting any Linkedin errors.
Clicking on the tab will show you which postings have errored, if you have multiple errors. Then, click the error chip to go straight to the error.
Clicking “View Error” the error chip in the postings page will take you straight to the “Organic Postings” section of the “Edit Job” page. The exact error will appear in the Linkedin section.
Follow the instructions on the error, and make sure to republish the job. If errors continue to appear, contact Customer Support for assistance
