Sharing your job on LinkedIn is a powerful way to reach quality candidates. Before starting, make sure you have set up the LinkedIn integration. Once the integration is enabled, you can post a job to LinkedIn by toggling on the LinkedIn option in the Organic section of the job details.
How do I Post a Job on LinkedIn?
To post a job to LinkedIn, you will need to edit the job and ensure that LinkedIn is toggled on in the organic section.
Edit the Job
Go to the job you want to post to LinkedIn, and click on the Edit button, then Edit Job.
Go to Organic
You can access the Organic section by scrolling down or clicking on the Organic tab on the right side of the screen. [No screenshot for an example of spacing]
Toggle on Linkedin
Click the toggle next to LinkedIn to enable the LinkedIn integration for this Job.
Fill out Preferences
Fill out the Company and Seniority of the position.
Add Premium Posting
If you've connected your Premium Posting contract with Pinpoint, you can set this job to use a premium slot.
Remote Jobs Requirements
If you are posting a remote job, don't forget to fill out any location requirements in the section below. The location requirements can be specific to certain towns or more general, such as a whole country.
Once you have added a job, it can take a few hours to appear on LinkedIn. After the job is posted to LinkedIn, you can share it on your feed to help get word out to your connections.
Posting to external job boards relies on your company being live on Pinpoint. If your company is not live on Pinpoint, you'll see this warning when configuring your organic posting options. Please contact your Customer Success representative or Implementation Specialist if you'd like your company made live.

How long will it take for my job to be posted on LinkedIn?
Jobs usually appear on LinkedIn within a few hours. LinkedIn checks for new jobs every 6 hours, so it might take a while to initially show up. If you would like jobs to appear sooner, please reach out to our Support team and request to switch to our LinkedIn API Job Posting Integration, which allows jobs to be displayed in a few minutes instead.
If I change the job title, will it update on LinkedIn?
Yes, any changes you make to a job will be updated on LinkedIn. This includes updating the title, job description, location, and other relevant details. Please note that it may take a few hours for the change to take effect.
What happens if I'm unable to see my post on LinkedIn?
If you can't see your job posting on LinkedIn check the following:
Confirm the LinkedIn integration is set up correctly: Adding a LinkedIn Integration.
Ensure the job meets LinkedIn’s posting requirements.
Contact support if issues persist.
