How Can I Restore a Deleted Job in Pinpoint?

If you have accidentally deleted a job in Pinpoint, it is often possible to restore it. This guide explains the steps to recover deleted jobs, access them in the archived section, and move them back to the active jobs list.

Has the Job been Deleted or Archived?

If a job is no longer visible in the Active tab of your Manage Jobs page, it has likely been archived. Archived jobs can be found in the Archived tab.

Only users with the "Archive Jobs and View Archived Jobs" permission can access the Archived tab. If you don't have access, ask an admin to check on your behalf.

If it does not show here, it may have been deleted.

How to unarchive a job

  1. Go to the Archived tab on your Manage Jobs page.

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) to the right of the job.

  3. Select "Open".

If the job cannot be unarchived Jobs with a Filled status (i.e. headcount has been met) cannot be moved out of archived directly. You'll need to resolve the filled status first using one of these options:

  • Option 1 — Increase headcount: Go to Edit > Edit Job > Headcount and increase the headcount. You can reduce it again once the job is re-opened.

  • Option 2 — Move the hired candidate out of the Hired stage. Note: this may affect your reporting data.Steps to Restore a Deleted Job

Restoring a Deleted Job

Deleted jobs cannot be restored by users directly — this must be handled by the Pinpoint Support Team.

To request a restoration:

  1. Contact Pinpoint Support.

  2. Provide a job identifier, such as the Req ID and job name.

  3. Support will investigate and restore the job from the backend.

  4. Once restored, the job will appear in the Archived tab — follow the steps above to make it active again.

What happens to candidate data when a job is restored?

All candidate data associated with the job at the time of deletion will be restored along with the job.

Can I restore a job myself, or do I need support?

You can restore a job yourself if it appears in the "Archived" section. If it does not, you will need to contact Pinpoint support for assistance.
