Exporting applications from your platform is an essential process for maintaining records or transferring data to other programs. This article outlines how to enable the necessary permissions and proceed with exporting applications using the 'Export as PDF' function.



How do I Enable Permissions to Export Applications?

Before you can export applications, you must enable the permission setting for your users. This is done through the Company section in the User Management area.

  1. Access User Management
    From the left navigation menu, select Company and then User Management.

  2. Select Users
    Choose the users whom you want to grant access to the export function by clicking on their profiles.

  3. Enable Permissions
    Go to the Permissions tab on their profile page, scroll down to the Export Applications as PDF permission setting, and toggle it on. Make sure to save the changes.

Once the necessary permission setting is enabled for your users, they will be able to export applications from the platform.



How do I Start Exporting Applications?

With the necessary permissions in place, you can begin exporting applications in bulk or individually from the platform.


In Bulk

Select Candidates
From the job's candidate list, check the box next to the names of the candidates you want to export, or select the checkbox next to the Name header to choose up to 100 candidates at a time.

  1. Open Action Menu
    This will open an action menu; choose the More tab located to the far right of the menu.

  2. Select Export Option
    From the overflow menu, click Export As PDF.

  3. Choose Application Items
    A form will appear where you can select which application items you want to include in the exported candidate packet. Check or uncheck the boxes as needed.

  4. Export the File
    After making your selections, click Export. The system will generate the file and send it to the email address linked to your Pinpoint account, where you can download it from the email received.

You are now able to export applications in bulk, helping to streamline your record-keeping process.


How do I Export Applications Individually?

  1. Select Candidate
    On the candidate's application page, click the ellipsis next to their name and select Export as PDF from the opened menu.

  2. Follow Export Steps
    You can use the same process as outlined above to select the items you wish to include in the export and submit your request.

You can now efficiently export applications individually, ensuring that you have the necessary documentation readily available.

What if the export function is not available?

If you are unable to access the export function, verify with your account manager to ensure that the feature has been enabled for your account.

How will I receive the exported applications?

Once you select export, the system will generate a PDF file and email it to the associated address for your Pinpoint account. You can download it directly from the email.

Can I customize the exported application content?

Yes, during the export process, you have the option to select which application items to include in the exported PDF, allowing for customization as needed.
