Hireflix is a platform that simplifies and streamlines the recruitment process through one-way video interviews. It enables companies to pre-record interview questions and share them with candidates, allowing them to respond at their convenience. This approach saves time for recruiters, improves the candidate experience, and allows hiring teams to review and compare responses more efficiently. By automating the initial stages of interviews, Hireflix helps organizations identify top talent faster and make data-driven hiring decisions.

Step 1

Log in to your Hireflix account and click on the menu item with your name.

Select API keys in the menu on the left, create a new API key. Then use the eye icon to reveal they key and copy it.

Go to Settings, then click on Webhooks. Click on the Create new webhook button to add a new webhook.

Go to the integration setup page and copy the Webhook URL.

Paste the Webhook URL below into the URL field, then enable the interview.status-change event for notifications. Save the webhook.

After saving the webhook, Hireflix will generate a Webhook Secret Key. Copy this key and paste it into the field below. This secret is used to cryptographically verify that the requests are coming from Hireflix.

Navigate to the Integrations section within the Settings subsection of the navigation bar.

In the Apps tab, search for the "Hireflix" card and add it to your company's available integrations.

Once the app is added, go to the My Apps tab and select the Hireflix integration. Enter your Hireflix API Key and follow the guide to configure the webhook. When you finish all the steps, save it.

After saving the changes, enable the integration.

If the integration is enabled, you should be able to add a video interview stage to your job stages or hiring workflow template. Simply drag the video interview block and place it in your desired order.

When the drag action is complete, you will be prompted to fill in the stage details. After providing a name and completing all the required fields, click the Submit button to save it.

Step 3

Go to your job and select the candidates you want to move to the video interview stage.

Then select the stage to complete the action.

Step 4

Go to your video interview stage. Now you should be able to configure your video interview.

Select the position for the video interview and submit the form.

Step 6

Now you should be able to select candidates and invite them to the interview.

Your candidate is now invited to the video interview.

Select the hiring workflow to which you would like the stage action added.

In the Edit hiring workflow drawer, drag the video interview icon into your list of stages to add it to your hiring workflow.

The edit form for the new stage will appear. Scroll down to the Stage Actions section and click the Add stage action button.

Select the Invite to Hireflix Video Interview action from the list.

In the second drawer, select the position for the interview and save the stage action.

After adding the stage action, save the changes to your video interview stage.

Can you send an invitation automatically when a candidate is moved to the video interview stage?

-Yes, just use the stage action.

I am not able to add a video interview stage to my job stages. What should I do?

-Please check if any video interview integration is enabled.

Can I have both myInterview and Hireflix enabled?

-No and you shouldn't. That can lead to some unexpected behavior.

Can I preview the video responses in Pinpoint?

-No. We only store a link to the response in Hireflix and you can preview the video there.

Does Hireflix support video transcriptions?

-Yes, it does. We don't pull them automatically into Pinpoint

Is this a "native" integration?

-Yes, just like in case of myInterview, it is a native integration.
