Access the Insights Hub and complete steps 1 - 3 from our guide Creating Custom Dashboards and Widgets to get to the point where you're starting to add widgets.
Click on Add Widget to show the Create Widget screen.
Create Widget
Title
Give the widget a title, for example "Furthest Stage Reached - Job 1"
Subject
Select the subject of the widget. In this case, select Candidates, as you want to create a widget focusing on the furthest stage reached by a candidate.
Widget Style
Select the Widget Style. In this case, select Funnel.
Property
The property determines what is going to be shown in the widget. In this case, you want to choose Furthest stage reached.
Time Period
Choose the time period that you'd like the widget to reflect. For this example, select All Time.
(Optional) Add Filter
You can optionally filter the widget. The filters limit the data used to create the widget, for example you can filter job widgets by location. For the example here, we're going to filter the widget's data by Job. Click on Add Filter then Job.
Include / Exclude
Select if you'd like the filter to Include the resources specified, or Exclude the resources specified below.
Add
Click Add to reveal a list of the resources specified above, in this example, it'll reveal a list of jobs when selected.
Select the Job
In this example, you'll click on the Job that you'd like shown in the widget.
Create Widget
Click on Create to create the widget.
Widget Added
You'll then see your funnel widget showing the furthest stage reached by candidates - it should look something like this.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the widget show Workflow Stage Groups and not my actual Hiring Workflow stages?
Every organisation's hiring workflow is different - this is part of the flexibility that Pinpoint offers. To help Pinpoint understand your hiring workflows, we've introduced the concept of Workflow Stage Groups. By default these are Applied, Review, Interview, Offer and Hired. Learn more about Workflow Stage Groups in our article Workflow Stage Groups.
Why am I not seeing rejected candidates, or why does the number of candidates in the funnel widget not match the number of candidates in the job?
The order of your hiring workflow stages is critical for Pinpoint to be able to understand the furthest stage reached for your funnel widgets. The "Rejected" stage in your Hiring Workflow needs to be the first stage in your Hiring Workflow template for us to be able to calculate the Furthest Stage Reached accurately. See the example below:
