From time to time, we get asked how to remove Zoom as an authorised conferencing provider from Pinpoint. To do this, you'll need to go to Cronofy and remove Zoom. A reminder: Cronofy is the third-party partner who powers Pinpoint's calendar and conferencing sync features.

Review your current settings

Click on your profile icon in the top right of Pinpoint, and click on Settings.

Click on Integrations. Your screen should look like this, where Google is your connected calendar and Zoom is your authorised conferencing provider.

Access your Cronofy profile

Check that the data center matches the data center used by your instance of Pinpoint. This is normally UK, unless you're located in the US. If you're not sure about this, ask your Pinpoint customer success representative for advice.

Select the login method that matches how you've connected to Cronofy. For example, if you're connecting a Google calendar, you need to click 'Continue with Google'.

You'll be asked to sign in to your Google account. Once you've signed into your Google account, you'll be taken to your Cronofy profile.

Remove Zoom as an authorised conferencing provider

Click on the Conferencing Services link towards the top of the page.

You'll see Zoom as one of your connected conferencing services. Click on the X icon to remove Zoom from this list.

You'll be asked to confirm this, click 'OK' to confirm that you want to remove Zoom from your list of approved conferencing services.

Your Conferencing Services screen will update to show no connected conferencing services. This shows that Zoom has been removed successfully!

Verify the change in Pinpoint

You can verify this by going back to Pinpoint, clicking on the profile icon in the top right of Pinpoint and selecting Settings.

Then click on 'Integrations'. Your screen should look like this, where you have your calendar connected, and Zoom no longer appears as an approved conferencing provider.

Reminder: your calendar comes with integrated conferencing available. Google calendars have Google Meet available and Office 365 calendars connected using the Graph API have MS Teams available.
