You can now choose the hiring team on a requisition. Add a job role, such as Sourcer or Interviewer, as a field on your requisition template. The person raising the requisition picks who fills each role. When the approved requisition becomes a job, those people are added to the job in their roles.
Who can set this up
Setting up job roles and requisition templates needs the "Edit company-level settings, configure integrations and manage templates" or "Create and manage company templates" permission.
Raising a requisition needs "Create requisitions".
Turning an approved requisition into a job needs "Create jobs from approved requisitions".
Step 1: set up your job roles
Go to Settings > Job Roles.
Click New Role.
Enter a Role Name, for example "Sourcer".
Optionally set Max Members. Leave it blank for no limit.
Tick Grants job visibility to assigned users if people in this role should be able to see the job.
Click Save.
Step 2: add a role to a requisition template
Go to Settings > Templates > Job Requisitions.
Open a template, or click Create New.
Click Add new field and enter a label and description.
In Connect with new job form, choose the role. Roles are listed as Job Role: followed by the role name, for example "Job Role: Interviewer".
Click Update template or Create template.
Pinpoint sets the Field Type for you. A role with a maximum of 1 person becomes Select (Employees). Any other role becomes Select (Employees, Multiple). You can add as many roles to a template as you need, and leave out the ones you don't.
Step 3: fill in the roles on a requisition
When someone raises a requisition from the template, each role appears as a field.
For a single-person role, pick one employee.
For a multi-person role, click Add employee... for each person. The label shows the limit, for example "(max 3)", and you cannot add more once you reach it.
You can make a role Required on Form or Required for Approval, the same as any other requisition field. Approvers see the people on the approval screen and can change them.
Step 4: Create the job
Once the requisition is approved, click Create Job. Everyone chosen on the requisition is added to the new job's hiring team in their role. If the role grants job visibility, they can see the job straight away. You can see and change them in the job's Details section.
đĄ Good to know
People are only added when the requisition creates a new job. A requisition raised against an existing job does not change that job's hiring team.
You can only pick employees. Agency users are not listed.
Each role can be linked to one field per template.
If someone chosen on a requisition is renamed or removed, or the role is deleted, before the job is created, Pinpoint creates the job without them. Check the job's hiring team if anything changed in between.
This is being released for early access. Pinpoint turns it on for your account, and it needs job requisitions to be switched on. Turning it on also adds job roles to the job form and to report templates.
