When an onboarding document needs signatures from more than one person - for example the new hire and their future manager - you can now let the candidate continue their onboarding as soon as they've signed their own part, instead of waiting for everyone else to sign. This keeps onboarding moving for a candidate who has done everything asked of them.
How it works
Setting off (default): the candidate can't move forward until every signer on the document has signed - unchanged from today.
Setting on: as soon as the candidate completes their own portion of the document, they can proceed through onboarding while other signers (such as a manager) complete their parts in their own time, even when the onboarding question is required.
This affects required onboarding questions only. Previously a required question would’ve blocked process (optional questions would always have allowed progress)

Q: Do the other signers still need to sign?
A: Yes. They complete their parts in their own time - the candidate simply isn't blocked from progressing in onboarding while they do.
Q: Will this change anything for companies that rely on waiting for all signers?
A: No. The setting is off by default, so existing behaviour is unchanged unless you turn it on.
