How can I build a Talent Pipeline report?
Users will need the "Create and View" custom reports permission to access the report builder. Reports are visibility dependant and will only show data within the visibility of the user running the report.
Steps
Go to Insights > Reports
Click Build New Report in the top-right corner
Select Talent Pipeline Candidates from the "report type" dropdown on the left hand side
Click next
This will then open a blank report, ready to add any data columns or filters needed
Select the columns you need on the left hand side - the columns dictate which data points will pull through into the report
You can then add Application date or Tag filters at teh top of the report to help narrow the scope
How do I filter by date?
You can filter by date in two ways:
Rolling date – e.g. "1 day ago"
Fixed date – click the calendar icon to the right of the filter to switch to a specific date
Filtering by a date range
To define a date window, combine After and Before filters. For example, to show candidates who applied in April 2026:
Application Date After 31 March 2026
Application Date Before 1 May 2026
Can I rename column headers or change date formats?
Yes. Click the edit icon to the right of any column title in the report preview to rename it. You can also change the date format displayed in the report from this same window.
How do I run or save a Talent Pipeline Report?
Once your report is configured, you have two options:
Option 1 – Run the report
Click Run Report to generate the data immediately. You'll be taken to a report preview where you can download the full report as a CSV. You can also save it as a template from this screen if you haven't already.
