Pinpoint can be configured to automatically survey candidates who have been part of your hiring process to gauge their satisfaction, which can give you vital insight and help you improve your candidate experience.
The surveys consist of an email, requesting an NPS-style 1 - 10 score, with the option to provide specific feedback after giving a score.
The surveys are sent out after a set time period, that you can choose, after the candidates have either been rejected, or hired.
Setting Up
STEP 1
Go to Candidate Surveys under 'Settings'. Then ensure that the surveys are Enabled.
STEP 2
Once enabled, you will need to input the wording of the email and set how long after the candidate's journey ends they are sent the survey.
Once complete, make sure you Preview the survey to see how it will look for your candidates:
β
The candidate gets the survey with your branding and wording:
What exactly triggers a candidate being sent a survey?
Rejected candidates will receive the survey after they have been tagged with a rejection tag and sent a rejection email.
Hired candidates will receive the survey after they have been moved to the Hired stage in your hiring workflow.

Reviewing the Results
The results of the survey can be viewed in the Candidate Surveys page from the Insights area of Pinpoint.
The score a candidate gives will define them into one of three categories, which are:
Detractor - They score 0-6 in the survey and may offer bad word-of-mouth publicity
Passive - They score 7-8 in the survey and had a positive experience of the process but are unlikely to promote you
Promoter - They score 9-10 in the survey and had an excellent experience during the recruitment process and are likely to tell people about their experience
Scrolling further down this page, you can compare scores by: location, department, job, and hiring manager. You can also view the data over a set time period:
