Using the Bizimply Integration

Use Bizimply for workforce management to help you streamline your employee scheduling, time and attendance tracking, and daily operations.

Bizimply is a workforce management platform designed to help businesses streamline their employee scheduling, time and attendance tracking, and daily operations. It primarily serves industries with complex shift-based workforces, such as hospitality, retail, and healthcare. Bizimply provides a centralized solution for managing multiple locations, employee rosters, and payroll processes.

Setup Instructions

Step 1

To link your Pinpoint and Bizimply accounts, you'll need to have your Bizimply login details handy.

Note: Always start the process from Pinpoint and do not attempt to create an API key directly from Bizimply.

Step 2

To enable the integration, first visit the Integrations Marketplace.

Step 3

Please find the Bizimply integration, and add it.

Step 4

Then, from the My Apps section, select the integration. It will display the Authorize button, which you'll need to click to initiate the process of authorizing the integration.

Step 5

You will be redirected to Bizimply to a page where you will have to set permissions for the integration and name the API key that will be created:

  1. The API key can have any name, but for clarity, we recommend it be named "Pinpoint."

  2. Set permissions to manage "Employee" and "Schedules" by clicking "Yes" next to each option.

  3. When all the steps are completed, click Save to create a new API key and send it to Pinpoint.

    1. If everything goes well, Bizimply will show a green notification with the text. The API key status will be Active. Note: the status will change to Connected after the first API call. Both "Connected" and "Active" statuses are valid.

    2. If you don't receive the success notification but instead get any other type of notification with an error, please contact the Integrations team to check what happened.

Step 6

If everything goes well, go back to Pinpoint and refresh the page with the integration. If the integration has been properly authorized, the Authorize button will no longer be displayed, and you will be able to enable the integration by clicking the Enable button.


Sending candidates

Step 1

Move the candidate you'd like to add to Bizimply into the Hired stage of the job's hiring workflow if they aren’t already there. You can skip this step if preferred.

Step 2

Once the candidate is in the Hired stage, open their profile and click on the action button (three small dots). From the dropdown, select Send to Bizimply.

Step 3

Follow the prompts to fill in the necessary fields. Once all required information is completed, click the Send to Bizimply button at the bottom of the form. The candidate’s details will be transferred, and they will now be visible in Bizimply.





Updating candidates

Step 1

If the candidate has been exported to Bizimply, you should see the Sent to Bizimply tag.

Step 2

You can just follow the same steps as for the create action above.

Note: the update action doesn't support updating the pay record.

Step 3

Follow the prompts to fill in the necessary fields. Once all required information is completed, click the Send to Bizimply button at the bottom of the form. The candidate information will be updated in Bizimply.

FAQ

Is rehiring possible?

No, currently, rehiring is not directly supported in the system, but it is technically feasible. This feature may be available in future updates.

Which fields are required?

The required fields for adding a candidate to Bizimply are: First Name, Last Name, and Location.

Can I change an employee's location after exporting it to Bizimply?

No, changing an employee's location after exporting to Bizimply is not supported by the API at the moment. However, it is part of Bizimply’s future roadmap.

Does Bizimply integration support onboarding?

No, Bizimply’s integration does not support onboarding.

Can I update a candidate after exporting them to Bizimply?

Yes, you can update a candidate after exporting. If the candidate reference is saved, we will fetch the latest employee details and display them in the form. You can then modify the data and update the employee information in Bizimply.

Can I change an employee's pay record after exporting it to Bizimply?

No, it is not possible to change an employee's pay record after exporting to Bizimply. You can only update personal details and the employee's position at this time.
