Managing CVs in Pinpoint: Deleting and Uploading New Resumes

Overview of CV Management in Pinpoint

In Pinpoint, only one CV can be stored in the Résumé section of a candidate's profile or application at any given time. To replace an existing CV with a new one, you must first delete the current CV. This ensures that the system maintains a single, up-to-date document for each candidate.

Steps to Delete an Existing CV

To delete a CV in Pinpoint, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the candidate's profile in the Pinpoint application.

  2. Go to the Résumé section of the profile.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the resume, and click the three dots to the right of the "download resume" button

  4. Select the "Remove" option to remove the CV from the profile.

Steps to Upload a New CV

Once the existing CV has been deleted, you can upload a new one by following these steps:

  1. In the candidate's profile, navigate to the Résumé section.

  2. Click on "add file" and select the new CV/resume file from your device.

  3. Click upload to replace the old CV with the new one.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting Tips.

  • Unable to Find the Delete Option: If you cannot locate the delete option, then there are two like reasons

    • YOu may not be in the candidates application - resumes can only be deleted from the application within a job, rather than the candidates profile, access from teh "all candidates" page

    • The "Hide résumé download" setting is enabled - the deletion of resumes s directly linked with being able to download candidates resumes, and so this setting needs to be disabled to access the "remove" button for resumes.

      This setting can be found in Company > Profile > preferences - you may need to reach out to your platform administrator to enable.
