The AI Candidate Companion is a smart chatbot that appears on your careers site to help candidates find answers about jobs and your company instantly. It's available 24/7, giving candidates immediate support whenever they need it.

What can it do?
The AI Candidate Companion can:
Answer questions about your company culture, benefits, and hiring process
Help candidates search for jobs using natural language (e.g., "Do you have any remote engineering roles?")
Remember conversations candidates can come back and pick up the conversation
How does it find answers?
The AI uses two sources to answer candidate questions:

Example: If a candidate asks "What's your parental leave policy?", the AI looks for this information on your careers site pages. If they ask "Do you have any marketing roles?", it searches your current job listings.
Getting the best results
The AI can only answer questions based on content published on your careers site. To ensure candidates get helpful responses:
Add comprehensive content to your careers site about benefits, culture, interview process, and company values
Keep job listings up to date – the AI pulls directly from your live jobs in Pinpoint
If information isn't on your careers site, the AI will let candidates know it doesn't have that information and suggest they contact your team directly.

Current considerations
English only – questions and answers work best in English
Cannot check application status – the AI doesn't have access to individual candidate application data, nor any sensitive data from your Pinpoint instance
Cannot schedule interviews or submit applications – candidates still apply through your normal process
Cannot hand off to a human – if candidates need to speak with someone, they'll need to contact your team directly through your standard channels
